In 1990 the Mayor Gallery in London held an exhibition of Brian Clarke’s paintings, works on paper, autonomous stained glass and architectural models. A selection of collages from 1990 were shown, as well as the models for architect Arata Isozaki and Clarke’s collaboration in the Lake Sagami Building, for the Victoria Quarter redevelopment in Leeds and for The Spindles Town Square shopping centre in Oldham. The ‘Gridline’ screens, autonomous works of art in stained glass, were also exhibited.
