Following his 1995 commission for the stained glass rooflights and ceiling mosaic at NotreShopping Centre in Rio de Janeiro, Brian Clarke designed a mosaic-clad clocktower for the plaza outside the mall at Praça Norte in 1997. Although the project remained unrealised, its design survives in the form of a model.
