Petals is a stained glass folding screen produced by Brian Clarke. Composed of over 12 panels held together by a dark wooden frame, the screen is covered with ‘delicate buds, individual marks on a ground creating an effervescing plane’ (Paul Greenhalgh in Brian Clarke: The Art of Light, 2020).

Petals was produced with a technique that excludes the lead cames that traditionally support and join the panels of stained glass windows, allowing them to freely interact with their surroundings. It exists in an edition of 10 unique variants plus 3 artist's proofs, published by HENI.
