In the 2020 catalogue Brian Clarke: The Art of Light, Paul Greenhalgh writes:
'Sometimes, darkness becomes a place. In Flowers for Zaha, the exotic, elegant lightness of the screen is interrupted by the already-mentioned single black square in the centre-left. This is not simply an aesthetic ploy. It represents the shocking death of his dear friend Zaha Hadid who passed away in Miami and is, in many ways, a quiet gesture that acknowledges the impossibility of describing such loss, beyond the void. The red orchid against the black ground marks both the presence and absence of a loved one.'
Flowers for Zaha exists in an edition of 10 unique variants plus 3 artist's proofs, published by HENI.
