Deutsches Glasmalerei-Museum writes:

‘Strong color contrasts and clear forms are decisive design elements in Brian Clarke's work of the eighties and early nineties. In his free glass pictures, the autonomous panels, the so-called "amorphs", formless structures that seem to float in free space, stand in exciting contrast to a strictly geometrical basic order.’
