In 2021, the Today Art Museum in Beijing hosted the group exhibition Within Reach – Masters’ Editions, in collaboration with HENI. The exhibition featured limited-edition artworks from seven master artists spanning different periods, including Brian Clarke.

With its emphasis on the transformative power of the arts, the exhibition took on special significance during a time of global healing and recovery, in the aftermath of the Covid pandemic. As Rehana Mughal, Director Arts at the British Council, noted at the time: ‘We need to feel and experience art now more than ever, we need to keep the transformative power of the arts, as the title suggests: within reach’.
