In 2008, the New York gallery Phillips de Pury & Company presented Brian Clarke: Don't Forget the Lamb, an exhibition of selected paintings and stained glass works by Brian Clarke.

The press release for the exhibition writes:

‘The 30 works exhibited displayed the vital pollination between painting and work in stained glass that has existed throughout the Clarke’s career. Both a distillation of the artist’s oeuvre to date and a progression of style in which image-making has been addressed, this exhibition included a series of seven large portraits of influential figures in Clarke’s life.’
