Brian Clarke: Designs on Architecture is the catalogue of the 1993 exhibition of the same name at Oldham Art Gallery, in Brian Clarke’s hometown, Oldham. Marking the opening of the Spindles Town Square Shopping Centre, topped with Clarke’s stained glass roofs, this was the first exhibition of his stained glass designs alone. With an introduction by Paul Beldock, this catalogue collects Clarke’s designs for Spindles, alongside other architectural and autonomous stained glass artworks and their designs.
