Parade
1990
Parade is an autonomous stained glass artwork created by Brian Clarke in 1990. The composition features three gridded sections in white, green and orange set against a blue background. Sliced agate stone in varying colours and alabaster pieces are embedded within the work as amorphs and rectilinear elements. These disrupt the order of the underlying grids, adding texture, opacity, and translucency to the composition.
