Leadworks is a series of autonomous panels in lead and stained glass produced by Brian Clarke in 2003. The title of the series refers to the new medium of ‘leadwork’ introduced by Clarke in the early 2000s, one that foregrounds lead rather than glass and inverts the conventional relationship between the two materials in traditional stained glass.

The two works in the series, Drawing for Jan Kaplicky II and Drawing for Oscar Niemeyer II, pay tribute to important architects and collaborators of Clarke.
