Holy Family Church
1973 - 1974
In 1974, Brian Clarke designed a series of stained glass windows for the Holy Family Church in Ingol, Preston. The church was built in 1971 by the architectural firm Horsley Currall & Associates.
Clarke’s project includes colourful square nave windows incorporating religious symbolism, along with two slim horizontal clerestory windows presenting the Alpha and Omega against blue-green and yellow-red backgrounds, respectively. A further narrow vertical window depicts stylised liturgical objects such as a chalice, a candle and a cross.
