Bieling Window
Bieling Window
1993
The Bieling Window was created by Brian Clarke in 1993 for the entrance door of the private residence of Thomas Bieling, son of the founder of the architectural firm Bieling & Bieling and director of the firm since 2011. The work consists of two narrow glass panels in red and blue tones, incorporating both amorphs and linear elements.
The commission for the Bieling Window followed Clarke’s 1992 collaboration with Bieling & Bieling on the headquarters of the German energy company EAM Kassel.
